Err okay good point lol, but i can imagine situations where trebuchets would be of some use. For example, against massed formations of troops, plus their large range might allow the orcish defenders to fire some pretty nasty ammunition at the attackers. They may also be moved slightly to fire out to sea against a seabourne invasion force. But I guess the bottom line is they are there to frighten the living daylights out of the attackers and to increase the morale of the defenders.
