Personally I cannot believe that WPM & EttBP even made it into this poll.
I have to agree with that! Both are important Greyhawk adventures.
As for EttBP introducing technology to the setting, it should be kept in mind that all devices found are limited in the number of times they can be used and prone to possible malfunction. It is impossible for anyone native to Oerth to make new power packs for them so they are very limited in scope.
If the party is lucky and returns from the expedition with a lot of weapons and power packs it is no different to the party having a lot of wands or other magical devices, and given that these weapons have very few "charges" they'll soon pass out of play.
That's my take on it :o)
