(User Info | Send a Message | Journal) | I am with you, when it comes to being the ultimate in behind the scenes, evil genuis, secret masterminds, Eclavdra is at the head of the class.
I always write off the Eclavdra serving Lolth/Iuz/Grazzt as being just confusion. Maybe Eclavdra is a fairly common name in drow so these other Eclavdras are actually different people altogether. Generally, I just rename the offending NPC. The one, true Eclavdra is an EEG priestess and the mastermind behind the giant troubles.
As a side note, I also do not like the making of the EEG just an aspect of Tharizdun. I throw that out as well. Eclavdra and the EEG are the real deal!

(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.donkbrown.com | Eclavdra is a prominent personality in the campaign, but I still forgot about her until you mentioned her name, CruelSummerLord. And having been reminded, she would certainly get my vote.
I definitely agree with your and OD's comments about her varied proclivities with Lolth, Iuz and the Elder Elemental God. She has been jostled around too much in the campaign. I guess that's the problem with so many authors who don't communicate. I like the idea of treating her as an ardent follower and powerful cleric the Elder Elemental God. That is where she should remain to keep a sense of consistency. Oh well.

(User Info | Send a Message) | Absolutely! Drow remain one of the best villian ever concieved for D&D, and Eclavdra is by far the best of them.
Her association with Iuz looked like a blatant attempt to include a cool NPC in newer material. She's a servant of the Elder Elemental God in my campaign also. |
