    Ok,
I picked Jallarzi for two reasons, she's a she and she's the one circle member with a defined goodly alignment. Sure, Tenser leans that way, but Jallarzi is profoundly good.

I strongly recommend losing Roger Moore's treatment of her in the aftermath of Return of the Eight if you're going to use her as a strong female figure in your game, after all, all that happened was that she was changed into a man for a couple days. Tenser got turned into a mindless dretch and used and abused and suffered no mental anguish over it, so it's totally sexist to assume Jallarzi, an archmage in her own right, couldn't handle the stress of a polymorph spell. Yes, it could be reasoned that she is distraught over performing evil deeds under duress, given her goodly bent, but IMO this should only strengthen her resolve to bring goodness to the Flanaess, not cause her to crawl into her shell and hide from the world.

With her strong, goodly attitude and the mischevious fun her familiar Edwina causes, she makes a great contrast to the usual dirty gloom of the City of Greyhawk and the rest of the Circle. She and Otto should represent the kinder, gentler face of the Circle that most folks like to see, since the rest of the members and the duties and tasks they all undertake are pretty grim most of the time.

I voted for Alhamazad the Wise because I enjoyed the intrigue regarding Kermin and Mordenkainen intimated in LGJ 0. It'd be great to learn more about him presently because a good article would expand our knowledge of Civilized Bakluna and hopefully collate the clues that Fred Weining has dropped regarding the strange states along the coasts of the Dramidj Ocean.

I picked Nystul. I liked Nystul's spells in the old "Greyhawk Adventures" hardcover.
